Political tensions in Malaysia erupted into a scuffle at parliament last night, as angry ruling party supporters confronted a veteran opposition member.

Mr Karpal Singh, human rights lawyer and Chairman of the Democratic Action Party, said 20 members of the ruling party confronted him after he accused UMNO Youth members of sending him bullets in the mail.
