I went to 7-11 this morning, and my total bill is RM4.55.



So I gave the cashier RM1x4, RM0.5x1 and RM0.01x5. She refused to accept the 1 cent coin. As usual I insisted and she relunctantly accepted it.



Is the 1 cent coin a legal tender? Can we still use it to pay our bill? I know we are rounding up and down the total sum to the nearest 5.



Any comment?
