Wow Factor Is Proud To Be Malaysian

Umno Must Revamp Culture, Image - Najib (Bernama)

Dear UMNO Leaders, your deputy president has said it all. You need to change or revamp totally, and make sure you are going to be people friendly. This is among the reasons for BN defeat in KT by-election. So the blame is on your characters, friendliness and also image. Do you think your deputy president need to change as per he mentioned too? We always say "lead by example" right? If your deputy president cannot walk the talk, will you dare to kick him out? Or just Jump to PR now!

Frankly speaking, what WOW factor are you guy talking about? Wow to be associated with BN or UMNO? What is there to be Wow about? We don't need to feel good to be associated with a racial party. We are all Anak Malaysia and we just want to be proud to be a Malaysian.

How can we be proud to be a Malaysian? When we can proudly tell the world "I am from Malaysia". At this moment, we are not proud to yell "I am from Malaysia" or "I am a Malaysian"

This is a Wow Factor that we want! Just proud to be a Malaysian! The following is Bernama's report on Najib excuses on KT By-Election, basically everyone false except himself!

PUTRAJAYA, Jan 20 (Bernama) -- Umno's negative image and the attitude of its leaders, which is not seen to be people-friendly, are among the reasons for the Barisan Nasional's (BN) defeat in the Kuala Terengganu parliamentary by-election last week, said Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

As such, the Umno deputy president said the party must change its culture and image so that it could win the hearts of the people.

Umno leaders at all levels must put up a positive and people-friendly image, he told reporters after witnessing the handing over of the agreement on the Restructuring of the Negeri Sembilan Water Supply Services at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre, here.

"The people gauge Umno from what they see in their relationship with the Umno leaders at all levels," he said.

He said this when asked to comment on the statement by Umno vice-president

Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin that Umno needed the "wow" factor to regain the people's support following the defeat in the by-election.

PAS won the Kuala Terengganu parliamentary seat when its candidate Abdul Wahid Endut defeated the BN candidate, Datuk Wan Farid Wan Salleh and Independent candidate Azharuddin Mamat in the by-election on Saturday.
