A sad father day...

6/17/2012 08:41:00 PM
I went to Giant Hypermarket in Kinrara with my 2 boys today around 430pm.

They love to play at the playground at second floor. It is free, so it help to lessen my financial burden. Most shopping center charge RM8 to RM20 per kids (More during the weekend)

Suddenly I heard my younger son screaming, and I turn around and show a 30+ woman beating the head of my son (Wei Xiang). I rushed to stop her from doing so.. and she turn around and scolded me in Cantonese "How did you teach your son? He just grab my daughter breast/chest". I pulled Wei Xiang away from her to protect Wei Xiang from further beating. While at the same time apologize, and then turn to Wei Xiang to discipline him. Wei Xiang knew something is wrong when I am angry, and he extended his palms for me to "beat" or "Rotan". I start lecturing him and telling him it is wrong to grab to touch other's chest.

Been in the spectrum, he oblige and let me beat his palms using my bare hand. He then sadly with tear in his eyes say "Bear Bear". Basically he like the Bear on the dress of the girl and touch it.

It is very wrong for him to do so, even if his intention is not to molest the girl. I was so sad because I did not teach him enough about circle of friends, who and who need to be in distance. Who can hug and who cannot. They are just very pure and do it from no harm or bad intention. But society will not tolerate such a uncivilized behavior.

I then ask Wei Xiang to apologize to the girl, she is about the same age as Wei Xiang (10-11). She said "It OK, he just like my dress with Bear Bear". Kid know each other better.

I apologize again to the mother, showing her my son OKU card. I hope she accept my apology and my son's apology.

But I am still sad, seeing my son was beaten repeatedly... she grab his hand, and using other hand to beat my son's head.. my son try to cover the head and yell "help help...." and he fell on the floor, and she keep beating him.. my heart hurt so much.

I have a sad father day for 2012. This will motivate me to put more effort in teaching him.. What happen if I am not around in the future, I cannot imagine

Happy Father Day to all Fathers in World

Stroke and The Tongue

7/05/2009 07:51:00 PM
I was away for the whole last week because my mother in law has a small stroke on Tue 30 June. I noticed her incoherent speech and deviated tongue and rushed her to HUKM immediately. I want to thank HUKM for the fine service, the doctors and nurse in Ward 6G. You restored my hope and belief in government run hospital. If I have the chance to manage, I will fired only the account department staff at the ground lobby.

I read about the following article before and it helped to save my mother in law's life. Please feel free to pass it on to others, who know you might help to save a life.

Stroke Identification

During a BBQ, a friend stumbled and took a little fall - she assured everyone that she was fine (they offered to call paramedics). She said she had just tripped over a brick because of her new shoes.

They got her cleaned up and got her a new plate of food. While she appeared a bit shaken up, Ingrid went about enjoying herself the rest of the evening

Ingrid's husband called later telling everyone that his wife had been taken to the hospital - (at 6:00 pm Ingrid passed away.) She had suffered a stroke at the BBQ. Had they known how to identify the signs of a stroke, perhaps Ingrid would be with us today. Some don't die. They end up in a helpless, hopeless condition instead.

It only takes a minute to read this: -

A neurologist says that if he can get to a stroke victim within 3 hours he can totally reverse the effects of a stroke ... totally. He said the trick was getting a stroke recognized, diagnosed, and then getting the patient medically cared for within 3 hours, which is tough.

Recognizing A Stroke

Thank God for the sense to remember the '3' steps, STR. Read and Learn!

Sometimes symptoms of a stroke are difficult to identify. Unfortunately, the lack of awareness spells disaster. The stroke victim may suffer severe brain damage when people nearby fail to recognize the symptoms of a stroke.

Now doctors say a bystander can recognize a stroke by asking three simple questions:

S *Ask the individual to SMILE.
T *Ask the person to TALK and SPEAK A SIMPLE SENTENCE (Coherently) (i.e. It is sunny out today.)
R *Ask him or her to RAISE BOTH ARMS.

If he or she has trouble with ANY ONE of these tasks, call emergency number immediately and describe the symptoms to the dispatcher.

New Sign of a Stroke: Stick out Your Tongue

NOTE: Another 'sign' of a stroke is this: Ask the person to 'stick' out his tongue. If the tongue is 'crooked', if it goes to one side or the other, that is also an indication of a stroke.

A cardiologist says if everyone who gets this e-mail sends it to 10 people; you can bet that at least one life will be saved.

Sodomy and Men's Prostate Gland

6/19/2009 03:06:00 PM
The prostate is a small gland, about the size and shape of a chestnut, that produces one of the fluids that make up semen. It is surrounded by many nerve endings so some men take great pleasure in having their prostate stimulated sexually.

The Prostate is the size of a walnut and is located 4 cm (1.6 inches) in from the anus on the anterior wall, down from the bladder and in front of the rectum.

The function of the prostate is to lubricate the ejaculation process (adds to semen and other seminal fluids) and to increase pH making the vagina more hospitable and, therefore, more conducive to fertilization. It produces prostatic fluid when the man is aroused and contracts during ejaculation to empty.

Why do it? Pleasure. Plain and simple. Concentration of nerve endings makes stimulation very pleasurable for many men. Intensity of orgasm can increase two or three fold with prostate stimulation. It can also delay ejaculation.

Some men shy away from prostate stimulation because of the taboos associated with anal play in our culture. Deep rooted (unsubstantiated) beliefs leave men feeling shame and a general concern that they will become or will be considered homosexual.

In Malaysia, sexual acts other than the so called "Normal" are not allowed, so oral or anal sex between consenting partner are considered illegal. But I guess and belief that majority of Malaysian are practicing oral sex in one form or another, so are we all going to jail for that? May be until ur partner decide to make the bedroom activities public. So far Malaysia has been famous for murder and sexual activities.

Going back to the famous sodomy case involving DSAI and Saiful. Usually the receiving partner is the one looking for pleasure to have his prostate gland stimulated. Assuming that DSAI did has anal sex with Mr Saiful and I think DSAI will be using condom with lot and lot of Lubricants. I am not a DNA expert, but can the investigating officer find sperm or DNA trace of DSAI in the famous anus of Saiful? Just my 2 cents worth of observation and opinion!

Hotspots flare, More Haze

6/17/2009 01:57:00 PM
Indonesian hotspots flare, haze thickens

JAKARTA, Indonesia (AFP) — More than 400 fires have been recorded burning in Indonesia's Riau province so far in June, a huge increase from the same time last year, officials said Tuesday.

Smoke from the fires is causing haze that is drifting across neighbouring Malaysia, where authorities said Sunday air quality and visibility in some areas had fallen from "good" to "moderate" over the previous week.

Most of the illegal fires were the result of land and forest clearing for traditional farming and palm oil plantations, forestry ministry official Israr Albar said.

"The number of hotspots may increase two to three-fold this month. The farmers are clearing land for cultivation in more areas," he said.

"Land cleared by local residents accounted for 65 to 70 percent of the fires." Read More at AFP

Swine Influenza (Flu) Update..

4/30/2009 03:01:00 AM
The outbreak of disease in people caused by a new influenza virus of swine origin continues to grow in the United States and internationally. Today, CDC reports additional confirmed human infections, hospitalizations and the nation’s first fatality from this outbreak. The more recent illnesses and the reported death suggest that a pattern of more severe illness associated with this virus may be emerging in the U.S. Most people will not have immunity to this new virus and, as it continues to spread, more cases, more hospitalizations and more deaths are expected in the coming days and weeks.
To get the daily update please visit CDC website and here you will get information on day to day prevention we can do to minimize the risk of infection. See here also for emergency response.

There are podcast from CDC also here... Go and listen to how you can put your hand together and be safe. What is the symptom of Swine Flu and more...

What has Malaysian Ministry of Health done so far? Do we have a website? Or A blog? If you can supply the information to me, I will create a blog just for updating. But with One Condition, the information has to be uncensored!

Swine (Pig) Flu

4/29/2009 01:40:00 AM
The human swine flu outbreak continues to grow in the United States and internationally. Today, CDC reports additional cases of confirmed swine influenza and a number of hospitalizations of swine flu patients. Internationally, the situation is more serious too, with additional countries reporting confirmed cases of swine flu. In response to the intensifying outbreak, the World Health Organization raised the worldwide pandemic alert level to Phase 4External Web Site Policy.. A Phase 4 alert is characterized by confirmed person-to-person spread of a new influenza virus able to cause “community-level” outbreaks.” The increase in the pandemic alert phase indicates that the likelihood of a pandemic has increased.
